Tasks

-Lead Investigation (ICAM) -Undertake Plant and Equipment risk assessments and maintain plant and equipment registers -Maintain staff Training Matrix and manage training requirements for the team -Investigate and respond to EQ safe and ICAM incidents -Conduct yard inspections, site audits, critical risk observations, safety observation conversations and safety moments. -Review and provide comments on safety documentation associated with ETS Panel Contract inspections -Organise and facilitate weekly Crew meetings and monthly Toolbox meetings – prepare agendas, take minutes and follow up issues raised at these meetings -Review, liaise with relevant parties and prepare and /or make improvements to safety documentation as required -Collecting specimens for alcohol and drug testing

What You Bring

-Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent) -Good level of written, verbal and numeracy skills -Comprehensive understanding on the development and implementation of policies and practices that comply with the Occupational Safety and Health act and regulations and any other relevant statutory obligations -High levels of self-discipline, self-motivation, energy and initiative -Sound computer and software skills (Email, word processing, spreadsheets, document control) -8+ years OSH experience in the construction area preferably with road and bridge construction experience
