Tasks
-Assisting with the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) of equipment and control panels. -Coordinating designs to ensure cost-effectiveness, constructability, and effective commissioning, considering the impact on other disciplines. -Working closely with Process, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering teams to ensure the electrical, instrumentation, and control designs are fully integrated and coordinated across the project. -Contributing to the design of control systems e.g. programmable logic controllers, SCADA, and Telemetry systems, for plant-wide control and monitoring. -Preparing Design Risk Assessments and ensuring all designs fully comply with relevant British Standards, legislation, and Health & Safety requirements. -Supporting the development of User Requirement Specification and Functional Design Specifications to define how the plant's automation systems will operate. -Carrying out site surveys and technical inspections to verify existing conditions or confirm adherence to design standards during construction. -Contributing to the design of instrumentation e.g. flow meters, level sensors, and pressure transmitters to monitor and manage process performance. -Actively supporting the development and coordination of 3D Models and Build Information Modelling (BIM) in a multi-disciplinary environment, specifically focusing on positioning and routing of electrical containment, instrumentation, and control panel locations to facilitate clash detection and ensure constructability. -Producing clear, well-presented technical reports, design calculations, specifications, and drawings e.g. single-line diagrams, and block cable diagrams. -Supporting the specification and selection of key electrical equipment, including transformers, low voltage switchboards, motor control centres, protection devices, and variable speed drives. -Supporting the commissioning and start-up phases of new installations, helping to troubleshoot and verify the operational performance of electrical and ICA systems. -Assisting in the design and delivery of power distribution systems e.g. power system modelling, low voltage switchboards, and motor control centres, for water and wastewater treatment works.

-Have the ability to travel to the office and sites (some of our sites are difficult to access through public transport) Meaning a full UK driving licence would be preferred. -Great communication skills. (Written and Verbal) -Have achieved or on track to achieve your Master's degree in Electrical Engineering -Eligible to work in the UK
