Tasks
-Lead and support the development of the procurement services provided by Turner & Townsend. -Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to Public and Private sector clients. -Lead and support business development and marketing of the Contract Services team’s service proposition. -Create new and innovative service offerings to the Market, -Lead and manage end to end procurement services on major projects or programmes. -Managing client relationships and related commission outputs and deliverables. -Lead and develop an outstanding team of specialist procurement and other consultants. -Leading strategic major procurement projects or programmes for Public and Private sector clients. -Support the delivery of both team and wider business targets. -Lead and develop a team to achieve successful outcomes for our clients. -Engage on and influence large scale flagship projects, -Lead on bid preparation and proposal documentation and support the work winning capability of the contract services division.

What You Bring
-Preferably possess experience working in Defence, Utilities, Infrastructure (roads, rail etc) sectors -Cross sector experience with a strong public procurement background is highly desirable, -Confident, independent and trustworthy, able to influence individuals at all levels. -Able to develop Supply Chain Intelligence strategies and analysis. -Encouraging and empathetic whilst also fair and consistent when supporting individuals. -Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders and develop ongoing relationships -Able to manage work/business development/career development activities. -Have achieved, working towards or willing to work towards MCIPs accreditation. -(SC) Security Clearance – currently valid or could be reinstated -Able to manage and supervise the delivery of others for a successful outcome. -Able to develop supplier evaluation and commercial principles and modelling strategies. -Adaptable and taking personal responsibility to succeed. -Excellent attention to detail. -Ability to lead and develop key strategies and documentation for major procurement projects that complies with Public Sector Regulations or equivalent. -A strong background in tender preparation, development and management ideally including negotiation. -Excellent communication skills, adaptable, with a determination to succeed. -Preferably possess degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement. -Able to develop Supplier Relationship Management strategies and activities. -Experience of developing and using various forms of contracts with particular focus on NEC and JCT. -Collaborative and with the ability to develop/manage a team and individuals efficiently to achieve desired outcomes. -Able to build strong, professional client relationships and proactively identify and resolve client’s issues. -Experience in and/or knowledge of regulated procurement, in particular Public Contract Regulations 2015 with an awareness of the Green Paper and potential changes to the public procurement regime.
