Tasks

-Design of capital improvement projects including preparation of construction plans and project specifications. -Ensuring technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various plans, reports and design documents. -Assisting other departments with engineering and technical support needs. -Perform design tasks associated with civil, infrastructure, water/wastewater, and municipal type engineering projects. -Work within AutoCAD and alongside existing office staff/management to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines.

-Self-starter who can work independently and with team members and manage projects. -8+ years of experience in the civil/environmental engineering field with concentration in water/wastewater design. -Excellent communication skills. -Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. -Ability to interact with coworkers, clients and regulatory agencies. -Knowledge of construction means and methods. -Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D. -Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering, or civil engineering. -Professional Engineering license required.
