-Complete cutting, threading, bending, and assembling rigid, aluminum and conduit systems. -Assist and/or direct interpreting drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to better help execute electrical installation and troubleshooting. -Test electrical equipment and components for current, voltage and OHMS. -Install and maintain EMT and PVC piping systems, batteries, solar panels, voltage regulators, MCC equipment, heat trace, and VFD’s. -Adhere to all company environmental, heath, and safety policies and procedures. -Responsible for all administrative, material ordering, and QAQC documents directly associated with the project at hand.
-A valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract. -Understand and execute basic circuit fundamentals, alternating current circuit properties, heating and cooling systems, magnetic control and switching circuits, three phase systems, transformers, machines, control and switching/PLC, fire alarm systems, red seal programs, industry network, and applications of electronics. -Pre-Employment Condition: Pre-employment D&A test required -Understand and inter-operate the most current Canadian electrical code book and exercise the rules when applicable. -Valid H2S, First Aid, OSSA Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, CSO, and CSTS. -Experience in the Oil and Gas industry in construction or maintenance is considered an asset. -Indentured Apprentice or Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician. -A pre-employment drug and alcohol test is required prior to employment. -Ability to work in various working conditions ranging from outdoors to indoors in a variety of weather conditions and working from heights as needed.
