-Identify process and system improvement opportunities -Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of financial data and cost structures used by suppliers as the basis for invoicing Watercare -Provide visibility and oversight of contractor costs charged to Watercare, ensuring transparency and value for money -Conduct routine and special audits -Provide expert advice and partner with the business -Deliver high-quality internal audit services and assurance to support Watercare’s strategic and operational objectives -Assess compliance with policies, standards, and legislation

What You Bring

-A solid understanding and hands-on experience with internal audit methodologies, processes, and procedures -The ability to work independently, deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision, and build strong relationships with stakeholders -Experience in the construction industry and a strong understanding of construction contracts -Strong commercial acumen, including a sound grasp of business needs, relevant legislation, and key business drivers -A professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, or a similar recognised designation
