Tasks

-Negotiating schedules of dilapidations and preparing exit strategies for required repair work -Keeping your knowledge up to date with building and sustainability standards, legal knowledge, and building pathology -Preparing reports following inspections to outline the state of the property/site -Helping with planning preventative maintenance plans -Visiting sites to complete Building Surveyor's inspections -Assisting with the co-ordination of portfolio instructions and undertaking other duties from time to time as may be reasonably required -Completing desktop survey research about sites -Acting as a Contract Administrator and Employer’s Agent on fit-out and refurbishment contracts

What You Bring

-You should be undertaking a degree with an industrial placement year as part of your studies -You can speak confidently and in detail about everything included in your submission -Right to work in the UK: (You will need to have right to work in the UK, with no time restrictions or limited working hours as this is a full-time role.) -Degree – on track to receive a 2:1 or above in any bachelor’s degree in Building Surveying -GCSEs – C / 4 grade or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
