Tasks

Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for heavy civil projects including: earthwork, utilities, roads, and other infrastructure components. Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors to ensure favorable terms, conditions, and pricing. Monitor subcontractor performance and address any issues promptly. Identify and assess potential risks associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies. Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential opportunities and risks. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in heavy civil construction. Collaborate with project teams to establish and track project schedules and milestones. Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and solicit competitive quotes from subcontractors and suppliers. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.

We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Heavy Civil Estimator with at least 3-5 years of Heavy Civil experience and an entrepreneurial spirit to join our dynamic team. -Strong proficiency in estimating software and project management tools. -Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. -Thorough understanding of heavy civil construction processes, materials, and methods. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Proven experience as a Heavy Civil Estimator with a minimum of 3-5 years in the industry.
