Tasks

-Facilitate invoice dispute resolution discussions with the customer, the Field, and the local Customer Relations team -Enlist the efforts of management when necessary to accelerate the collection process -Conduct performance evaluations according to organization guidelines -Assign work to review customer receivables and coordinate payment resolution -Supervise the Customer Relations & Accounts Receivable Account Specialists -Oversee timely and accurate daily cash application -Perform training as requested -Follow work process to communicate and collaborate with employees at all levels -Reduce the delinquency for assigned accounts to achieve organizational goals -Collaborate with the Customer Relations team to complete tasks in a timely manner -Communicate with internal and/or external customers and various units regarding collection issues -While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear -Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers

What You Bring

-High school diploma or GED required -Problem-solving skills -Occasionally lift and move 10 -25 pounds -Excellent verbal and written communication -Proficient literacy -Intense focus on accuracy and attention to detail; organized -Experience with Microsoft Great Plains and D365 software preferred -Outgoing & assertive personality – not afraid to approach individuals -The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, or reach with hands and arms -Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Products (Excel, Word) -Basic knowledge of accounting principles and terminology; strong math skills -3-5 years collections experience preferred -Critical thinking skills -Primarily sedentary or working at a desk -Strong customer service skills
