Tasks
The Field Manager will oversee, supervise, and evaluate employees in the field and at customers' homes or sites. We are looking for a Field Manager with residential electrical experience who is highly motivated and results-driven to be a part of our team. The Field Manager's responsibilities include supporting, training, and overseeing our field technicians, supervising our workers on site, and directing operations in the field. A successful Field Manager is an independent thinker with excellent leadership, observational, and analytical skills. This individual will be goal-oriented with a strong working knowledge of the fieldwork being performed. -Work together with field managers, business unit managers, dispatch and dispatch support staff to implement “best practice” field operations. -Ensure field technicians arrive for scheduled van inventory appointments set by the inventory controller. -Submitting required reports to business unit managers. -Participate in training programs for field technicians to ensure they can perform their duties effectively. -Engage in generated reports that highlight the strengths and weaknesses of each field technician. -Hiring, training, and motivating field technicians. -Traveling to job sites and evaluating field technicians. -Facilitating communication for maintenance and repair to company vehicles and equipment that adheres to the company vehicle and equipment maintenance schedule. -Assigning technicians, job scheduling, and supplies/equipment delivery to field technicians. -Monitoring and enforcing field rules among technicians. -Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction that aligns with “best practice” foundations set forth by Trades and Neighborly. -Developing direct reports with mentoring, coaching and training. -Set up a one-on-one meeting with each employee as needed to review performance, skill level, or as deemed necessary.

What You Bring
-5+ years experience as an Electrician -Ability to perform, teach and perfect all relevant job tasks -Good communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills -3+ years experience in a lead or managerial role -Excellent project management, organizational, time management, and leadership skills -Self-motivated, results-driven, and independent thinking
