Oversee and manage QA/QC processes, inspections, and training on commercial projects.

Tasks
-Preparing field reports and providing them to the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Project Engineer responsible for the scope. -Reviewing product specifications and submittals to ensure they have been submitted and approved. -Participating in project start-up meetings. -Managing and conducting the training and development for direct reports. -Reviewing the Quality Buy-Out Checklists for applicable areas with the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure all scopes are covered and nothing is missing that will impact quality standards. -Attending meetings with subcontractors and defining QA/QC responsibilities. -Scheduling meetings with Project Manager and Project Executive to discuss QA/QC coverage and amount of time allocated. Determining a solution when more time is needed than what was budgeted for any quality issues that arise. -Participating in a post-construction “turn-over” meeting with the project team at the end of construction. -Working with Project Executive to compile checklist of hot points applicable to assigned projects (Glazing, EIFS, Roofing System, Wall Systems, Water Proofing, Sealants, Metal Panel Systems, and Swimming Pools). Gaining an understanding of the client’s needs and areas of elevated concern for quality discussed during the work acquisition phase. -Developing and documenting the Quality Management Plan. -Conducting field walks and field inspections during construction, making recommendations for correction of deficient workmanship, and coordinating plan for rework with Superintendent. -Working with the project team to report Lessons Learned and any details that become apparent to be shared for future projects.

What You Bring
-10-15 years of relevant Quality Superintendent experience on commercial construction projects. -The ability to lead and desire to teach and mentor other employees. -Strong knowledge of computer platforms used for quality applications. -Prior experience directly managing a team of individuals. -Ability to conduct group training and presentations. -Ability to travel between multiple projects spanning our Southern & Northern California region (Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Bernardino County). -A valid OHSA 30 Card is required.
