  • -Provide an overview of existing inventory for possible sales to clients.
  • -Develop and maintain budgets for interior design projects.
  • -Communicate with a broad array of participants and stakeholders
  • -Maintaining and updating production timeline for interiors projects
  • -Liaison for, and with, vendors and clients.
  • -Design furniture layouts and select all furniture and fabric items for internal and client approval.
  • -Design and propose suitable interior esthetics for review by the Interiors Manager, Principal, and clients for projects ranging from high-end residential to museums.
  • -Create custom furniture drawings and renderings.
  • -Prepare design presentations, renderings, and material samples.
  • -Entering all purchase proposals and orders, (using Studio Designer software) while following the order from start to install: monitoring orders from placement to delivery, processing CFAs and submittals, coordinating shipments, overseeing import and export fees with US Customs Broker, overseeing repairs of damages that may have occurred during shipping.
  • -Provide management supervision for purchase orders
  • -Coordinate and supervise deliveries to clients. Assist with project installations.
  • -Generate invoices for custom-made furniture as well as purchases made on behalf of clients.
  • -Work with Vica furniture, our associated furniture company, to ensure appropriate integration of this product within our projects.

  • Ability to effectively create high-quality presentations and communicate concepts to the interior manager, principal, and clients
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment, yet independently when required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required. Experience using 3-D modeling programs such as Rhino is desirable, as well as Enscape.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Reasonable knowledge and appreciation of art history, architecture, and the decorative arts
  • Strong organization skills
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline required.
  • Ability to communicate via hand sketching is expected.
  • Knowledge of furniture and its value in the marketplace as well as furniture sources and resources for both residential and commercial projects.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and Studio Designer software necessary
  • Business and management acumen is essential
  • Experience with job sites and comfortable liaising with contractors.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • -Ability to manage multiple projects, in a vigorous and dedicated environment.
  • At least 5-6 years experience in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
  • Ability to work with integrity, trust, commitment
  • A design sensibility commensurate with the development of sophisticated interiors
  • Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and precision and with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of shipping internationally, customs duties, and taxes.
  • Must have solid conceptual and design process skills and good problem-solving abilities.
