The Role

Overview

Inspect, maintain, and repair motive power battery and charger systems for customers.

Tasks

-Perform routine preventative maintenance. -Troubleshoot battery and charger systems. -Complete all work order and customer facing documentation while adhering to Concentric SOP expectations. -Perform repairs at customer locations and Concentric shops. -Respond to client needs in a timely manner, while applying great customer service behaviors. -Work safely and follow all safety requirements.

What You Bring

-A valid driver’s license -Work independently or with a team in a professional manner. -Experience in material handling environment is preferred, but not required. -Drivers must have a valid driver's license at all times. -High School or GED Diploma required. Open to consider an automotive or trade school graduate. -Exercises high degree of time management skill, resulting in greater than 90% time billable to customers. -Drivers must have a valid DOT medical card or the ability to obtain DOT medical card per DOT/FMCA guidelines during the hiring process. Drivers must continue to maintain their active medical card status throughout their employment. -Ability to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. -Working knowledge of basic AC and DC electrical/electronic theory. -A score card that reflects performance in areas such as safety, efficiency, work order completion, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution. -Ability to clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer needs. -Willingness to work occasional overtime. -Ability to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision. -Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment. -Drivers must be able to obtain a CDL to drive commercial motor vehicles or combination vehicles weighing more than 26,000 lbs. -Drivers must follow the DOT's HOS regulations. -Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices. -Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. -Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills. -Drivers must be at least 18 years old to drive "Intrastate". Drivers must be at least 21 years old to driver "Interstate". -Concentric Technicians may need to travel out of state to perform work. The Department of Transportation (DOT) has several requirements for drivers of commercial motor vehicles weighing less than 26,001 pounds who are driving across state lines, including: -Drivers must be able to obtain a CDL in order to drive commercial motor vehicles or combination vehicles weighing more than 26,000 lbs.
