Tasks

-Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and banking relationships. -Oversee acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of company vehicles. -Monitor trends and recommend policy or procedural changes to improve outcomes. -Liaise with brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to manage claims and renewals. -Oversee short- and long-term investment strategies in alignment with company policy. -Monitor debt levels and ensure compliance with loan covenants. -Ensure compliance with state and federal workers’ compensation laws. -Evaluate risk exposures and recommend appropriate coverage levels. -Administer workers’ compensation programs, including claims management and reporting. -Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and internal safety standards. -Cultivate and maintain bank and lending relationships -Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to optimize fleet efficiency. -Lead capital planning and financing initiatives. -Collaborate with HR and Safety teams to reduce workplace injuries and associated costs. -Develop and maintain the organization’s insurance portfolio (property, casualty, liability, etc.). -Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure regulatory compliance. -Manage fleet budgeting, utilization, and performance metrics with operations.

What You Bring

-10 - 15+ years of progressive experience in treasury, risk management, or financial operations. -Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., OSHA, DOT, state WC laws) -Strong understanding of insurance markets, workers’ compensation regulations, and fleet operations. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills -Experience leveraging and manager the broker relationship. -Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. -Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach. -Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives. -Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. -Proven record of leadership, building teams, creating sustainable policies and procedures -Experience with ERP systems and treasury management software. -Business Acumen and Risk Assessment Skills -Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
