Tasks
The Assistant Project Manager will support the delivery of distributed generation solar and storage projects, working closely with senior project management and cross-functional teams. This role requires coordination with internal teams—including engineering, procurement, and project control—as well as external contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies. You will help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while supporting the scaling of the company’s project management capability. This is a high-impact, high-visibility position offering significant autonomy, exposure to a growing portfolio of projects, and opportunities for professional development. -Participate in site visits and project meetings to monitor performance and address issues. -Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks to senior leadership. -Collaborate with EPC partners, developers, and internal teams to ensure alignment with project standards and objectives. -Support project managers in overseeing multiple distributed generation solar and storage projects throughout the construction lifecycle. -Assist with contract administration, reporting, and progress tracking. -Contribute to process improvements as the project management function grows. -Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and deliverables from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout.

What You Bring
-Experience managing the construction phase of commercial or energy projects. -Experience in distributed generation or utility-scale solar projects preferred; residential-only solar experience is not ideal. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. -Familiarity with project management tools and construction scheduling software is beneficial. -Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. -2–3 years of experience with an EPC or in project management within renewable energy or commercial construction. -Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.
