Tasks

-Attend Client, Vendor, and Internal Team meetings. -Present technical information to peers or other personnel for review, to implement operating procedures, and resolve system malfunctions. -Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. -Provide specific to discipline technical expertise to the degree of preparing and providing training for other personnel; both within the company and for the customer. -Manage Project Schedules and Budgets as well as provide weekly reports to communicate project status, issues, and needs. -Serve as a Mechanical Lead or Mechanical Technical Lead on Combined Cycle Power Generation projects. -Prepare and maintain resource plans. -Review equipment vendor documents for compliance to project specifications and industry standards. -Prepare equipment inquiry/RFQ packages. -As a Licensed Professional Engineer, seals and signs all documentation produced by own work. May also seal and sign work done by engineers under direct supervision. -Provide strong leadership to drive mechanical technical design and project coordination. -Perform field walk downs to collect information required to complete work. -Prepare man-hour estimates for proposals. -Perform equipment technical bid evaluations and prepare recommendations. -May supervise, coordinate, and review work of a small staff of engineers or technicians on assigned work. -Develop job notes and technical scopes of work.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of the ASME Codes for pressure vessels and piping systems -10 minimum years of experience in the Power Generation Industry with familiarity of all associated systems of a combined cycle power plant -Licensed Professional Engineer -Knowledge and familiarity with API Standards and Recommended Practices applicable to the specification of refinery fixed and rotating equipment -Bachelor’s degree in a mechanical, or related engineering discipline -Strong background in heat exchangers, pumps, ASME pressure vessels, and ASME piping code -Full and ongoing compliance with and adherence to all vaccination requirements, as may be established by the company from time to time or by or for a particular job site. -Mechanical Engineering experience in the Industrial Construction, Diversified, Food & Beverage, Fermentation or Pharmaceutical industry preferred. -Experience in the specification of fixed and rotating equipment -Must maintain active status in a drug and/or alcohol testing consortium
