The Role

Overview

Install, maintain, calibrate flow/level monitors and collect sewer data in the field.

Tasks

-Adhere to all safety work procedures and ADS policies, procedures, and safety work instructions. -Maintain accurate, legible and organized records in accordance with all ADS quality work instructions. -Maintain vehicle and equipment to ensure safety, mechanical soundness and productive operation. -Flow monitor calibration -Collection of sewer flow, level and rainfall data and review for accuracy -Installation of rainfall monitoring equipment -Complete all required internal and external training requirements and certifications. -Travel and work overtime hours as required. -Perform strenuous non-entry vertical rescue operations, when necessary, in urgent situations. -Operation and maintenance of flow and level monitors and rainfall gauges. -Setup standard traffic control work zones in high density traffic conditions. -Bend, twist, pull, lift and carry loads of up to 60 pounds. -Installation of flow and level monitors within underground sewer lines -Act as topside confined space attendant and effect rescue if necessary.

What You Bring

-Must be willing to foster a healthy safety culture. -Driving to and from worksites in standard and non-standard driving conditions. -Basic computer skills (Windows-based operating platform and Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word at a minimum) -Ability to climb ladders and work at heights using fall protection equipment, including harness and safety devices, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols -Perform permit required Confined Space Entry -Manual dexterity with good mechanical skills -Maintain valid driver’s license and driving record. -Must be willing to travel to and work in the physical conditions present in a sewer. -Must be able to function in a team environment and be capable of achieving daily productivity targets. -Physical and cognitive ability necessary to complete multiple confined space entries and operate within the space for extended periods. -Willingness to work outdoors in most weather conditions. -Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills
