Tasks

-Overseeing hard services delivery and statutory compliance across the national portfolio -Reviewing and validating quotes, method statements, and risk assessments -Managing outsourced maintenance contracts and internal engineering teams -Leading and developing engineering teams to deliver high-quality service in line with H&S and statutory requirements -Supporting future planning and infrastructure strategies -Managing helpdesk and CAFM functions -Driving supplier performance through regular reviews and continuous improvement -Acting as the Authorised Person for Electrical Works, providing technical assurance and leadership -Supporting area managers with PPM and remedial works -Maintaining and optimising the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule based on SFG20 and manufacturers' guidance

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAFM systems -IBOSH qualification -Recognised engineering qualification -Membership of a relevant professional body (IET, CIBSE, etc.) -Proven success in leading change management initiatives -Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, PPM planning, and energy utilisation -5+ years’ experience in Facilities Management, covering both hard and soft services -Authorising Engineer / Authorised Person in M&E disciplines -Formal project management qualification (e.g. Prince2, APM) -NEBOSH qualification -Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets -Experience managing technical teams and contractors nationally
