Tasks

-Championing innovation and best practice in stormwater and environmental solutions -Enhancing customer satisfaction and community engagement outcomes -Supporting community-led flood resilience and water quality initiatives -Partnering with iwi and stakeholders to deliver restoration projects -Providing technical advice on flood resilience, riparian planting, and stormwater management -Promoting health and safety and financial accountability across projects -Supporting the delivery of the Wai Care and Community Flood Resilience Programmes -Building capacity within community groups and local organisations

What You Bring

-5+ years’ experience in environmental management, community engagement, or restoration -Sound knowledge of water sensitive design, green infrastructure and community-led development principles. -Strong understanding of stormwater, contaminant reduction, and flood mitigation -Experience in project management, including budgeting and contract oversight -Ability to support citizen science and run community workshops -Relevant tertiary qualification and professional membership (or working towards) -Proven ability to work with iwi and community groups on water-related initiatives
