Tasks

Review drawings prepared by junior draughtsmen to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare and update electrical drawings, including lighting, power distribution, ELV, and fire alarm systems, using AutoCAD or equivalent drafting tools. Review design documents, specifications, and sketches to produce accurate shop drawings. Maintain proper documentation, version control, and filing of all electrical drawings. Verify and incorporate design changes, modifications, and site requirements into drawings. Support site teams by providing technical clarification and accurate drawings for installation purposes. Participate in coordination meetings with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors as required. Coordinate drawings with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams to avoid clashes. To prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics for MEP projects in compliance with approved designs, project specifications, UAE regulations, and company standards. The Senior Draughtsman (Electrical) ensures accurate, clear, and constructible drawings to support engineering and site teams. Assist engineers in preparing schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
