Coordinate and dispatch staff and equipment to project sites efficiently and safely.

Tasks

-Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and leaders. -Coordinate between other regional offices to cover projects -Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects. -Relay information and instruction to employees, their managers, labs and other project stakeholders (internal employees, client, contractors, etc.) as appropriate. -Answer and manage incoming calls and dispatch employees with appropriate skills or certifications to precise locations at necessary times. -Dispatch in an incident and injury free manner consistent with Terracon’s guidelines to keep the care and concern of employees a priority. -Follows safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects. Performs pre-task planning prior to executing work. Report any safety issues or concerns to management. -Use materials dashboard, CMELMS and other tools to effectively distribute employees and balance workload. -Manage resource conflicts among employees, clients and office/regional leadership team using negotiation strategies. -As the hub for the department or office, maintain communication with field units to coordinate and prioritize schedules day-to-day.

Requirements

What You Bring

-Minimum 3 years of relevant experience or the equivalent in training and related experience. -Associate degree in project management, business management, or human resources -High school diploma or equivalent. -Complete Terracon Resource Manager training within 1 year in role. -IIF Safety Leadership Terracon course obtained within 1 year in role. -Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history. -Ability to use technology (mobile apps, email, scheduling software, etc.) -Negotiation skills -Skilled at prioritizing projects and managing logistics (equipment, internal logistics) according to urgency and importance, utilizing negotiation skills when conflicts arise. -Interpersonal interaction skills -Time management skills -Multi-lingual preferred in some markets
