Overview
Manage construction project finances: billing, budgets, reporting, and team collaboration.

Tasks
-Assist in the annual financial audit, as needed -Assist in the audit of any jobs, as needed -Create new job numbers for Project Managers -Attend CSR meetings with the PM CFO, Business Unit Leader, and other management -Provide mentorship to new Project Accountants -Provide contractor tax statements for jobs when required -May have occasional visits to a job site which would require periods of standing, walking and/or climbing stairs -Perform continuous process review and improvement through innovative thinking -Assist in covering workloads for open positions or during employee absences -Review and update Contract Status Reports (CSRs) and Overview Reports for all assigned Project Managers’ jobs. -Enter new jobs, budgets, labor rate, and other data into Spectrum -Lead or assist others with special projects -Train Project Accountants (new employees and all employees when processes change)

What You Bring
-Complete assigned Learning Management System (LMS) courses, Strength Finders Assessment and Dale Carnegie Leadership Training for Managers (LTM) -Ability to recognize patterns and small inconsistencies -Knowledge of sales and use taxes preferred -Ability to work independently and collaboratively -Knowledge of Microsoft applications Outlook, Excel, Word required -Strong attention to detail -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer -Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality -Experience in construction accounting (job cost) preferred -Accounting software -Laptop Computer -High degree of self-motivation -Strong analytical skills -Strong time management skills -Ability to adapt quickly to new processes -Two-year Accounting degree or a minimum of two (2) years equivalent experience
