Tasks
-Reviews work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and for document compliance in accordance with the Project Delivery Manual. -Identifies and responds to technical implications and design decisions. -Evaluates design alternatives based on site and code requirements. -Plays essential role in marketing opportunities and develops successful client relationships for continuing business. -Uses graphic storytelling to advance the project delivery and scope. -Initiates and creates schematic designs that optimize design solutions and plans with responsibility for presentation drawings, models, and narratives. -Prepares client presentation packages, external publications, and award submissions. -Accountable for effective coordination with partners and consultants throughout the schematic and design development phases. -Mentors staff. -Promotes and manages overall project goals and constraints, including client values, construction and design budget limitations, and schedule requirements. -Leads collaborative teams in internal design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups and external community engagements. -Responsible for leading all phases of the design process with a high level of proficiency and expertise while adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in design, execution, and living design.

What You Bring
-Microsoft Office / Adobe Suite -Bachelor's degree in architecture or related discipline required -Graphic storytelling -Professional Accreditation in one area of Living Design that interests you: LEED AP with Specialty, BREEAM AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, Passive House Institute Certified Passive House Consultant/Designer CPHC/CPHD, or ILFI Living Future Accreditation -Architectural license (preferred) -LEED GA within 6 months of hire -Visualization tools such as Enscape and VRay -Conceptual modeling tools such as Rhino and Grasshopper -Advanced Revit -Environmental Analysis software such Ladybug and Climate Studio -Physical modeling tools such as 3D Printing and Laser cutting -Expertly applies knowledge of building technology, building materials, construction methods, costs, and code to the design process. -Demonstrates strong and effective communication and direction which inspires high team performance and design ideas. -Advanced knowledge of 2D/3D production software -Presentation tools such as InDesign and Photoshop
