Overview
Lead dynamic power system studies and mentor engineers for MV/HV grids

Tasks
-Identify risk areas and propose solutions to improve system safety and stability -Work closely with other engineering teams to incorporate the results of system behaviour analyses into the overall project design -Draft detailed technical reports and present results to internal and external stakeholders -Perform in-depth power system analyses, including dynamic behaviour studies -Model MV and HV power systems, including hydroelectric plants, wind farms and solar parks, using specialized software while integrating design data and operational parameters

What You Bring
-BBA University with over twenty technical courses -Proficient with power system modelling and dynamic analysis tools, including PSS/E, DIgSILENT, PSAT, PSCAD, CYME and EMTP-RV -Good communication skills and ability to work on a team -Caring mindset that puts people first -Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, with approximately seven years of relevant experience in dynamic power system studies -Sense of equity and inclusion -Intermediate level of English to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally. The frequency of English use may range from occasional to daily, depending on ongoing projects -Ability to look beyond established standards -Advanced level of French to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients in Québec. -Ability to mentor junior engineers and manage several projects simultaneously
