Overview
Provide GIS/drafting services and create engineering drawings using MicroStation.

Tasks
-Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to MicroStation. -Establish strong relationships across all levels, both within and outside the organization -Post updates to the DistGIS database -Develop and revise engineering drawings and plans -Maintain organized documentation and drawing files. -Work within a flexible, fast-changing team environment ensuring customer needs are met

What You Bring
-High School Diploma or Equivalent -Strong attention to detail and accuracy -Proficiency in the following software: AutoCAD MAP3D 2014 or above MicroStation V8i and MicroStation Connect (Microsoft Office products, etc.) -Working knowledge of Bentley’s MicroStation software -Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to technical accuracy. -Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and field notes. -Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) systems is a plus -Ability to read, interpret, and update engineering drawings -Demonstrated experience as a CAD drafter or in a similar role, preferably in the energy or utility sector -Associate degree or Certificate in CAD, or related field -Candidate must exhibit Southern Style behaviors -Minimum of 2 years’ experience CAD drafting (ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation) and geospatial tools
