Project Manager

Overview

Manage planning, execution and delivery of water infrastructure projects from inception to sign‑off.

Tasks

-Taking responsibility for the health & safety of self and all under your control, completion of RAMS -Management of staff and subcontractors working on assigned projects -Proactively manage the impact on and protection of the environment -Close liaison and management of the Client and other stakeholders as appropriate -Creation and management of the appropriate Project Documentation and control of project expenditure within a monthly project reporting structure

What You Bring

-Driving licence -Contracted to 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday -Industrial engineering experience - ie water industry, MEICA, civils -CDM Awareness (ideally SSSTS or SMSTS) -Site experience is essential, currently or previously in a supervisory site role or Project engineer role -CSCS card -HNC / HND level qualifications -Capable of effectively managing teams, including employees and subcontractors -Understanding of project governance procedures and commercial aspects of projects -Sound knowledge of H&S legislation and regulations -Southern Water Experience is desirable but not essential -Capable of effectively managing more than one project at any one time, depending on complexity -Industry Based qualifications (NVQ/C&G) -Experience in managing CDM sites and working on CDM sites -Experience in the design and delivery of projects
