Tasks
The Electrical Engineer will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team within the Approving Authority, the primary purpose of the role is to directly support current operations and future programmes. Supporting nuclear facilities & the delivery of services across both Client Sites near Helensburgh. -📅 Develop EIMT Schedule, procedures, and results. -🔄 Handle design changes/concessions. -📄 Manage Infrastructure Design Substantiation documents. -📊 Present Design substantiations to safety committees. -🛠️ Apply engineering knowledge to nuclear/high-risk environments. -📝 Check and review calculations and technical documents. -🗣️ Advise internal and external stakeholders. -🕵️♂️ Conduct Independent Technical Review. -📝 Produce Periodic Review of Safety reports. -🔍 Review reports and safety submissions. -💡 📝 Authoring technical justifications for electrical design modifications in high hazard industries. -📐Experience in the design assessment of electrical installations in a HV or LV environment

What You Bring
-🤝 Experience in multi-discipline projects providing electrical engineering input. -💼 Worked in the UK nuclear industry (energy or defense), especially in safety-related structures, systems, and components. -👷 Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent experience. -🛠️ Familiarity with safety case development techniques like HAZID/HAZOP studies. -⚡ Theoretical and practical skills across concept, detailed design, and construction stages for electrical engineering projects. -🌡️ Experienced in regulated environments. -🔒 Security Clearance: SC, UK National. -🏗️ Experience in assessing electrical plant and equipment for hazards. -🎓 BEng in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
