The Role

Overview

Welder for stainless steel projects at Wrexham, 12‑day roster, 2‑month contract.

Tasks

-Interface with all project trades and disciplines -Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete work scope in a safe and controlled manner. -Accountability for the safe and effective execution of the welding activities detailed above in adherence with project specifications, process and procedures -Provide information and support to line manager & supervisor -Sign on to applicable permit to work (PTW) in order to complete work scope on a controlled and safe manner. -Complete all work scope in accordance with applicable work pack / job card instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches. -Follow the schedule communicated by the supervisor. -Provide timely feedback to supervisor or plant operator of ongoing status or completion of the task. -Adhere to all applicable company policies, working practices and procedures as communicated by the company from time to time. -Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team.

What You Bring

-NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 Welder/Fabrication (or equivalent) -Flexible – able to comply with company and client requirements -Confident and with an ability to work unsupervised and work on own initiative -Demonstrate visible safety leadership by example and communication/interaction with team members -Ability to work with other team members/disciplines and in a multi-cultural environment -CCNSG Safety Passport -Experience in development works and pressure testing preferred. -Ability to communicate effectively with team members
