Overview

Assist in designing overhead transmission lines, site visits, and calculation reports.

Tasks

-Support site visits and inspections during the design and construction phases to verify design intent and ensure installations meet approved specifications. -Perform calculations to support design work and create reports to effectively communicate findings. -Assist in the development of detailed construction drawings for overhead transmission lines, ensuring compliance with client and industry standards. -Coordinate with internal and external teams to assist in developing detailed designs and participate in regular meetings to provide updates on design progress.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated interest in the power delivery industry through internships, work experience, or academic projects. -Ability to review and interpret design drawings. -A cummulative GPA of 3.0 or greater. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). -Strong interest in electrical transmission or high-voltage transmission lines. -Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree program in Civil Engineering. -Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
