Tasks

-Manages the onboarding/offboarding of employees. -Maintains all security clearance records and documents (electronic or hard copy) for Chugach cleared employees. -Assists with Industrial Security responsibilities in coordination with site AFSO and the Corporate Industrial Security Department. These duties included, but are not limited to: -Communicates with external agencies and internal staff on HR administrative matters, including unemployment inquiries, workers’ compensation claims, drug testing, physicals, employment verifications, benefits subrogation, and other related requests. -Dealing with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations. -Prepares and distributes HR-related communications and correspondence. -Assists in the collection, processing, and maintenance of affirmative action and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) data. -Facilitates Industrial Security training, OPSEC (Operations Security), and all other required awareness training for all project site personnel. -Provides investigation assistance and reports security violations and adverse information reports to the Corporate Industrial Security Department. -Prepares and coordinates processing of paperwork for all employees requiring Common Access Cards (CACs) and other clearance badges/paperwork. -Effectively coordinating several projects simultaneously. -Acts as the primary point of contact for benefits administration, handling tasks such as new hire enrollments, claim resolution, reporting changes, and communicating benefits information to employees. -Provide incident reports and foreign travel reporting according to SEAD 3 reporting guidelines. -Processes documentation related to benefits, compensation, and other HR functions (e.g., Personnel Action Notices [PANs], direct deposit forms, tax withholding changes). -Provides administrative support to executive staff, including office management duties related to budgeting, personnel records, and payroll. -Ensures implementation and adherence to all policies, procedures, and practices outlined by the customer, Department of Defense (DoD), and 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM Rule. -Assists employees and visitors with access questions or issues. -At the behest of Corporate Industrial Security, assist with self-inspections and review of all security processes to ensure compliance. -Manages full life-cycle recruiting including career fairs. -Serves as a point of contact for Industrial Security-related issues at the project site. -Manages I-9 documentation, including verification and reporting through the E-Verify system. -Interfaces and provides support with project site subcontractors, as required. -Intake and report employee complaints and concerns to HR Manager and provide resolution recommendations. -Performance Management: participates in annual performance review communications, succession planning, PIP’s, disciplines, etc. -Coordinates and schedules events, meetings, interviews, orientations, conferences, and other workplace activities. -Completing all mandated training requirements per government and management directives. -Coordinates with employees for eAPP entry of SF86 and Continuous Vetting (CV) process. -Maintains and updates records within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS); generates reports on benefits, attrition/vacancies, employment actions, and more. -Records Management: may index, classify, code, enter, update, file and/or retrieve records, charts, reports or documents and perform routine file maintenance by identifying deficiencies, checking for missing information or replacing worn materials as needed as it relates to HR or Security.

What You Bring

-Harmoniously working with other Chugach employees and customers. -Compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures and Personnel policies and procedures. -Communicating effectively orally and in writing. -This position is primarily performed in an office setting using standard office equipment (desk, computer, phone, printer, copier, etc.). -Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS). -Valid state Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record pertinent to the position. -Ability to positively interact and develop rapport with employees, management, vendors, or customers in a professional and courteous manner in diversified situations. -Advanced computer skills with a demonstrated ability using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, HRIS programs or other related databases and systems. -Bachelors Degree or 4 years of equivilant experience in lieu of a Bachelors Degree. -Demonstrated ability to analyze issues/situations and communicate using tact and diplomacy. -The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. -Experience working on a Government Contract. -Ability to work with minimal supervision. -Ability to exercise independent judgment and handle confidential information, displaying discretion in protecting Chugach proprietary information and confidential/sensitive personal information contained in Human Resource and Industrial Security files. -Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively verbally and in writing with individuals at varying organizational levels. -Ability to pass pre-hire background and drug screen. -Having the ability to work well under pressure. -Work requires the ability to operate a computer and work in a standard office environment, effectively communicate information in verbal and written form, read and review information and charts, perform analytical thinking skills, use sound judgement, and travel via vehicle and plane. -U.S. Citizenship. -Four (4+) years of experience working in Human Resources with knowledge of personnel action processing, verifications of employment, garnishments, benefits, etc. -Timely and cost-effective performance of duties. -Working independently, with minimal supervision -Adherence to established company safety policies and good industrial and office safety practices. -Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
