Tasks

-Key point of contact with suppliers and subcontractors to course competitive pricing and assess lead times -Coordinating and submitting detailed tenders, bids and formal proposals in line with project deadlines -Identifying innovation and value engineering solutions and efficiency improvements -Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely 2.0 Culture. -Analysis of design, specifications and technical documentation to identify scope, materials, labour and cost requirements -Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects on our across the waste water and water sector -Support operations teams with monitoring program, budget forecasts and risk assessments -Building and maintaining strong working relationships internally and externally.

What You Bring

What's on offer?We're seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in developing accurate, competitive and innovative electrical cost estimates. This role will suit someone with a strong background in electrical systems and LV and HV networks. -5+ years experience as an Electrical Estimator -Strong analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously -High level communication and interpersonal skills -Electrical Engineering qualification or trade background in electrical systems -Experience working within the civil construction or utilities sector with a proven track record preparing accurate estimates for utilities/infrastructure projects
