The Role

Overview

Plan and procure materials, manage inventory, coordinate with suppliers and production.

Tasks

-Accountable for inventory performance of a set of suppliers/commodities to maintain balance of on-time delivery and working capital performance. -Execute material planning to procure raw materials through a consistent process, reducing variation in the supply base. -Utilize MRP to ensure timely and accurate communication of supplier schedules and/or discrete purchase order releases. -Minimize all inbound/outbound premium freight. -Manage the ramp-up/ramp-down of new productions in conjunction with the APQP process to ensure consistency of delivery and minimization of obsolete inventories.

What You Bring

-Experience in MRP, MPS, Min-Max tools -Problem Solving analysis -APICS CPIM Certification is a plus -Forecasting tools -2-3 years experience in materials, planning/scheduling area in the same industry -Bachelor degree in Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain preferred. -Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced level in Excel -Bilingual (English/Spanish) -ERP System (MFG Pro or SAP preferable)
