Overview
Install, test, troubleshoot protective relays and related equipment, travel Midwest/Northeast.

Tasks
-Support the sales effort by assisting with labor estimates and job walks -Install, troubleshoot, commission, test, and maintain protective relaying equipment -Adhere to all company, industry, and client safety protocols and standards ensuring our “Safety First” priority -Conduct end-to-end relay testing using Doble ProTest software or Protection Suite -Install, adjust, and troubleshoot relays with technical capabilities -Collect field data and perform arc flash studies, coordination studies, and short circuit analysis -Remain up-to-date with all safety and technical training; attend company sponsored safety training when required -Provide technical insight concerning substation systems and electrical power systems -Calibrate and perform functional tests on microprocessor-based protective relays for high-voltage substations

What You Bring
-Professional skills in protective relay logic, protection schemes, write-ups, and documentation of test plans related to full commissioning substations -Knowledge of Doble ProTest or Protection Suite -Unless otherwise noted, we do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position. -NETA certification is strongly encouraged -Experience installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and similar equipment -Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing protective relays in high-voltage substations -Must be 18 years of age or older -Excellent written and verbal communication skills together with a proven commitment to safety and customer service -All job offers are subject to pre-employment drug screening and a background check. -Two-year degree or technical school graduate; or relative field experience
