Tasks

-Reviews personal and peer design elements to optimize project constructability, cost effectiveness and material quantities. -Designs and drafts construction methods for temporary works (falsework, shoring, temporary bridges, formwork, slopes, etc.), ensuring completeness and accuracy with regulatory standards and within the contract specifications. -Submits design for peer review or approval review in an accurate and timely manner to avoid construction delays on the project site. Senior engineer or manager to seal designs following approval review. -Provides constructability and technical design input on temporary works construction designs to ensure compliance with contract specifications and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring

-Professional Engineering License (PE/PENG) preferred. -Engineer in Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) required. -Knowledge of AutoCAD, RISA suite, LARSA and MathCAD are a plus. -Knowledge and understanding of constructability and construction practices. -Verbal, written and interpersonal skills required . -Internal Training Crane level I and II preferred. -Knowledge and skill in technical writing for clear and efficient communication -Ability to multi-task and self-prioritize work. -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural or related Engineering field required.
