Tasks
9. Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders. Develop standard system and ensure accountability for detailed records of project activities and client documentation. Ensure compliance with documentation requirements for audits or claims 4. Efficiently manage all resource (labor and equipment) allocation and planning including recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and assigning 6. Implement and enforce quality assurance and control processes. Review designs and workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications and internal control measures. Conduct inspections and address non-compliance issues 5. Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and guidelines (OSHA, DOT, Internal Controls). Work with the Safety Department to address and resolve safety issues promptly and plan for safety proactively 2. Oversee planning, scheduling, forecasting, and execution of all roadway projects assigned to them to ensure projects are completed on time and cost budgets 3. Develop and manage budgets for roadway construction projects; analyze financial reports to ensure cost control and maximum gross profit 7. Serve as primary point of contact for clients, DOT, and major stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure client, vendor, and subcontractor satisfaction 1. Lead and manage to hold accountability to achieve maximum gross profit results in the division. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and production 8. Develop long term strategies to grow the roadway division. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets. Stay informed and implement progressive industry trends, innovations, and best practices A Roadway Division Manager in the heavy highway construction industry and is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of roadway construction projects. This role typically involves managing teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

6. Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local roadway specifications and requirements 2. Proficient in WIP report analysis and utilization 4. Financial performance (gross profitability, cost variance, contract revenue and contract cost variances, accuracy in cost at completion) 3. 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role managing multiple project budgets, schedules, contracts, and teams 4. Strong leadership and management skills 5. Proficiently trained and proven track record in safety and quality management 2. Safety performance metrics (e.g. incident rate, compliance rate, loss time, near miss rate) 1. Civil Engineering Bachelor’s Degree 2. 5+ years of heavy highway project management experience delivery project on time and budget 5. Strong decision-making abilities, conflict resolution, and team-building skills 1. Project performance (completion within scope, schedule, and budget; schedule and budget variances) 3. Proficient in resource planning and allocation 7. Strong decision-making abilities, conflict resolution, and team-building skills 4.
