Overview

Tasks

-Monitor compliance by ensuring contractors and subcontractors adhere to safety protocols, PPE requirements, and regulatory standards. -Perform regular site inspections to audit construction areas for unsafe practices, equipment misuse, or environmental risks. -Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, project managers, and quality assurance teams, to integrate safety into all phases of construction. -Manage documentation by maintaining accurate records of safety audits, permits, incident reports, and compliance certifications. -Coordinate and deliver safety training programs on topics such as hazardous materials, confined spaces, and emergency response. -Develop and implement site-specific safety programs aligned with OSHA, FDA, and pharmaceutical industry standards. -Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards related to chemical handling, cleanroom construction, and specialized equipment installation. -Investigate incidents by leading root-cause analyses of accidents, near-misses, or safety violations, and recommend corrective actions.

What You Bring

-Experience with commercial construction and estimation is beneficial. -Proficiency in project management, electrical systems, and commercial construction. -Expertise in safety training and OSHA compliance, including holding an OSHA 30 certification. -Ability to forecast and manage financials related to safety measures. -Bachelor’s degree in Safety or a related field. -0-2 years of experience working as a safety specialist in a construction company.
