The Role

Overview

Perform maintenance and repairs in residential and public areas for senior living facility.

Tasks

-Performs routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas including correcting electrical malfunctions, repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings, repairing and replacing light bulbs and fixtures, drywall/concrete repairs, painting, repairing doors and locks, etc. -Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure. -Completes all work orders in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task(s) performed along with all prescribed/pertinent equipment information.

What You Bring

-Attendance is essential to this job. Must also maintain dependability and punctuality. -Long Term Care/ Nursing home setting experience - 1 year, -2-3 years of maintenance experience in a residential apartment complex, commercial building or hotel preferred. -Technical Certificate or Degree preferred but not required. -High School or GED. -Life Safety experience preferred.
