The Role

Overview

Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment on 24/7 plant.

Tasks

-Operates machinery and tools including hand tools, power tools, scissor/boom lifts and lift trucks -Follow all safety rules and regulations. -Confers with and coordinates activities with Production personnel and other departments to minimize disruptions to production and maintenance schedules. -Performs preventative maintenance tasks to mitigate equipment failures and take corrective actions as needed. -Frequently works near moving equipment -Troubleshoots, repairs, adjusts, installs, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic equipment.

What You Bring

-Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and adapt to frequent changes -Reading, writing and math skills -Navigate up and down stairs -Ability to read and interpret layout drawings and blueprints -Use of computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). -Attention to detail and focus on the task at hand is extremely important. -Communicate in a professional manner -Able to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment -Flexible and adaptable to change -Lift/carry up to 50lbs with or without assistance -Flexing/extending/turning the neck -Must be able to work continental rotating 12 hour shifts -Use of PPE’s including: Hardhat, hi-vis, ear protection, eye protection and steel toed boots -Computer experience (Email, Microsoft Word) -Ability to work in a loud and sometimes dusty environment
