The Role

Overview

Senior engineer overseeing electrical/instrumentation hook-up activities onshore and offshore.

Tasks

-Ensure that applicable procedures are implemented (hook-up execution plan, safety and risk assessment, installation procedures). -Report safety observations regularly to maintain high safety standard level in the work site -Provide inputs to update offshore planning (hook-up sequences, physical progress) -Write interface requests, request for information, site queries to final client when additional information is required. -Prepare offshore material requests based on work sequences and schedule. -Prepare materials, job cards and bags & tags prior to offshore works. -Supervise electrical and instrumentation installation work at site. Ensure E&I subcontractor is working according to Subsea7 safety and quality standards, and work is delivered according to client expectations. -Review all relevant engineering documents (P&ID, loop checks, wiring diagrams, technical datasheets, cable schedule). -Participate to offshore surveys (Tie in point’s identification, site routing, identify potential clashes). -Participate to site toolbox talks and be proactive in safety.

What You Bring

-Previous experience in topsides E&I construction activities. -Ability to propose decision on Technical items, Resources, Procurement. -10 years minimum of relevant work experience is preferred. -Good knowledge of standard office software (MS Office, MS Project). -Fluent in English Language – speaking & writing. -Engineering Degree associated with Electrical or Instrumentation specialties.
