Tasks

-Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and addenda to ensure complete bid coverage. -Collaborate with project management, engineering, and fabrication teams to confirm accuracy of estimates. -Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial glass and glazing projects, including scope development, material takeoffs, and pricing. -Participate in value engineering and budget review meetings as needed. -Manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet strict bid deadlines. -Maintain strong relationships with general contractors, vendors, and suppliers throughout the bidding process.

This is a great opportunity for a seasoned estimator looking to join a well-respected glazing contractor with an excellent reputation and long-term stability. -10+ years of experience in the commercial glass and glazing industry (required). -Familiarity with Minneapolis-area markets and general contractors is a plus. -Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills. -Strong background in estimating storefront, curtain wall, entrances, canopies, sunshades, interior glass, and office partitions. -Proficiency with estimating software and tools such as Bluebeam, Excel, and related programs.
