Tasks
-Utilize a continuous improvement approach to safety. -Conduct on-site safety and equipment trainings. -Conduct safety audits and risk assessments and implement controls for hazardous working conditions or unsafe team member activities. -Promote safe work practices and safe working conditions in accordance with all Federal, State and Local regulations, and Owner/Contractual requirements. -Responsible for performing daily on -site safety functions of the company. -Ensure all required records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures. -Develop project-specific site safety policy and procedures. -Conduct safety orientation sessions for new employees and subcontractors. -Investigate injuries, incidents, and near-misses to determine causes and preventative measures. -Ensure Pueblo Mechanical & Controls – Tucson’s core value of safety is lived and followed by all.

What You Bring
-Must be able to see clearly and recognize small details. -Knowledge of OSHA, local safety laws, and other regulatory agencies. -Must have a valid driver's license. -Sound/ethical judgment, strong leadership skills, and ability to work independently. -3-5 years' experience in the construction safety. -Must be able to speak & hear detailed information through oral communication. -Individuals must have the ability to work with all levels of INSERT NAME of OpCo employees. -Bi-Lingual Preferred English/Spanish -CPR/First Aid certified preferred -Extensive travel by vehicle. -Must be able to perform activities requiring use of arms and legs, including climbing ladders/scaffolding, lifting & handling materials, walking & balancing and stooping. -Proficient in MS Office. -Significant work at construction job sites, during all stages, in all types of weather conditions.
