Principal Level Chartered Building Surveyor delivering commercial surveying and consultancy services

Tasks
-To effectively communicate ensuring all information is available for the successful implementation and completion of projects. -To manage and undertake professional technical consultancy commissions including Technical Due Diligence, condition surveys, LTAs, PPM schedules etc. -to represent the company in a professional and diligent manner. -to support with mentoring and supervising junior building surveyors -to ensure the Sector Director has quantified information on the progress of each contract on a regular basis -Develop strong working relationships with clients -Provision of concise and commercial advice to our clients. -Manage client expectations -Provide guidance to junior team members -To manage risk in service delivery and contribute to service delivery improvement initiatives. -to liaise with the Project Managers and Team Leaders to ensure efficient financial control resulting in a cost effective service. -Deliver all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner -Represent the company; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients forming a strong working relationship in true partnership

What You Bring
-Work effectively in a team. -A team player who can develop and maintain excellent relationships and gain the confidence of other professionals both within the Company and outside. -The role includes predominantly commercial building surveying work along with some Project Management across a range of building types although largely commercial. Experience in professional work such as dilapidations would be desirable. -Demonstrate effective communication and management skills for service delivery. -Ability to provide good concise commercial advice. -To demonstrate organic revenue growth and implementation of the business plan in terms of the commercial building surveying offering. -Able to manage priorities. -Multi-discipline experience. -Degree and MRICS qualified (minimum 3 years PQE). -Able to maintain total confidentiality at all times. -Able to manage own tasks from inception through to completion.
