Tasks

-Obtain and analyze quotes from vendors and subcontractors for materials and labor. -Participate in pre-bid meetings and client consultations as required. -Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine project requirements. -Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial roofing projects (TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, coatings, and metal systems). -Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and superintendents to ensure seamless project execution. -Identify cost-saving alternatives and value-engineering opportunities to enhance proposal competitiveness. -Develop detailed take-offs and pricing breakdowns for both negotiated and competitive bids.

What You Bring

-Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. -Proven ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. -Proficiency with estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, Edge, or similar). -Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and technical documents. -Minimum 3 years of estimating experience within commercial roofing. -Strong understanding of low-slope systems, materials, and construction methods. -Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
