The Role

Assist property team in leasing, marketing, and resident services.

Tasks

-Tour prospective residents, provide information on property amenities and services, create excitement and desire to live in the community. -Manage CRM and follow up with prospective residents creating urgency to lease. -Inspect vacant apartments for readiness on a routine basis as well as prior to the new resident moving in; Report any deficiencies to the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. -Respond quicky to inquiries, questions, and concerns from residents and prospects. -Communicate with residents and prospective residents in person or via phone, text, email, social media and online sources. -Generate leases, prepare and review lease paperwork with all new and renewing residents, -Report accurate daily, weekly and monthly leasing activity data. -Enforce community policies. -Gather required documentation and follow all lease and renewal procedures. -Inspect the marketing tour path each morning and throughout the day; Report any deficiencies or items of concern to the Property Manager in a timely manner. -Provide exemplary customer service to residents, prospectives and visitors. -Prepare market surveys and gather knowledge of surrounding market and competitors. -Adhere to Fair Housing and local laws. -Create a fun and positive environment for residents. -Work closely with the team to maximize revenue, occupancy, resident and retention goals. -Participate in and host fun community events. -Inspect Model apartments daily to ensure that they are in marketable condition; Report any deficiencies to the Property Manager. -Generate traffic, participate in outreach marketing, execute marketing plans, think outside the box to drive leasing efforts to hit leasing goals.

What You Bring

-Prior customer service experience interacting with customers in a professional manager. -Experience with Yardi a plus. -Strong customer service skills. -Experience using computers and computer software. -High School degree -Ability to continually close on prospects and lease apartments. -Ability to learn and work on various types of computer software programs. -Ability to communicate, read, write in English; bi-lingual a plus. -Pleasant attitude to all prospects, residents and associates, friendly and courteous personality. -Strong marketing skills, outgoing, self-starter, creative. -Excellent communication and listening skills. -Able to build rapport, make genuine connections and create an exciting environment. -Ability to pass a mystery shopping report based on the company criteria. -Prior leasing or sales experience. -Knowledge of or ability to learn all aspects of leasing apartments. -Strong commitment to company goals and values. -Ability and desire to perform outreach marketing for the community. -Reliable transportation required.
