Tasks

-Coordinate with the Program/Project Manager in collaboration with pre-construction and design teams to review plans & information related to constructability and all costs involved in developing the project’s execution. -Leading periodic construction meetings, and additional meetings if needed, to resolve issues impacting cost and schedule. -Provides input to monthly pay-application reviews so the client can finalize the billing. -Managing quality services related to oversight and supervision of construction contractors’ quality control services, including, at a minimum, confirming that the standards required by the contract are met. -Overseeing field and construction activities that include construction coordinators and other CM support staff. -Reviewing and approving contractors’ Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and Logistics plan(s). -Review Daily Construction Reports weekly work plans to achieve schedule compliance. -Supports the client in coordinating with other departments (i.e. Capital Delivery, CPEAT, DSD, Finance, etc.) -Working with the Environmental Officer to monitor compliance with all environmental requirements. -Attend Contractor Progress (OAC) meetings, punch walks, mockup reviews, etc. -Performs QC checks on their own work product and that of their staff. -Overseeing construction monitoring and associated reporting as required to confirm Contractor compliance with the contract requirements. -Ensures that project site and company assets are secure and always maintain a safe and respectful working environment by coordinating with ROCIP team, safety and risk management teams. -Liaison between contractors and internal field stakeholders (i.e. Maintenance, Operations, Security, etc.). -Supports the review and negotiations of Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) field costs, equipment, and General Conditions (GCs). -Verifying the construction contractors’ mobilization schedules including recommendations to client for approval of contractual requirements before issuance of Notice to Proceed. -Reviewing, adapting as necessary, and monitoring construction safety programs. -Supports the contract change order review process, including review of contractor estimates, negotiate change orders, and assist in obtaining required approvals. -Assist client in change management & scope development.

What You Bring

-Certified Construction Manager preferred -Familiarity with building codes and standards, and ability to interpret design documents and contract specifications -Valid Driver’s License -Strong understanding of environmental codes and regulatory requirements relevant to airport construction -Demonstrated aviation-related construction experience, including work on or around airport terminals and improvement projects -Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on vertical building projects -Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and SharePoint -Must be willing to work onsite in Austin, TX -Detailed knowledge of the preparation, updating, and maintenance of the project schedule(s). This will include an overall schedule and/or individual schedules, as required, to track design review activities, procurement activities and construction activities. -P6 experience preferred -Ability to successfully pass a TSA criminal background check
