Tasks

The Patch Concrete Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating concrete surface repair and restoration work on construction or infrastructure projects. This includes managing crew members, ensuring quality workmanship in patching and finishing, maintaining safety compliance, and delivering work on schedule and within project specifications. -Enforce compliance with OSHA safety standards and site-specific safety protocols. -Inspect completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards, project plans, and specifications. -Operate and train crew on tools and equipment such as chipping hammers, grinders, concrete saws, trowels, mixers, and pressure washers. -Coordinate equipment and material deliveries; maintain accurate inventory of patching materials (grouts, epoxies, bonding agents, etc.). -Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors. -Oversee surface preparation, patch material mixing, placement, finishing, curing, and cleanup. -Interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to plan daily work. -Provide hands-on training and mentorship to crew members to ensure productivity and safety. -Identify and resolve field issues in a timely and effective manner. -Supervise and lead concrete patching crews on-site, ensuring proper repair of spalled, cracked, or damaged concrete surfaces (e.g., walls, slabs, columns, curbs, sidewalks). -Maintain daily reports on labor, production, and materials used.

What You Bring

-3–5 years of experience in concrete repair or construction, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role. -Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required for certain job sites. -Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required at all times. -Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills. -Frequent standing, kneeling, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and working in confined or elevated areas. -High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical certifications in concrete or construction preferred. -Familiarity with epoxy, polymer-modified, and cementitious repair products. -Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents. -Proficient in the safe use of concrete repair tools and equipment. -Ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding environments and adapt to changing project needs. -Strong knowledge of concrete materials, patching techniques, and repair standards (ICRI, ACI, etc.).
