The Role

Overview

Manage, inspect, maintain, and decommission water asset projects, ensuring safety and compliance.

Tasks

-Provide work delivery, safety and environmental assurance including KPI reporting. -Working alongside the other technical leads in the team, coordinating routine and infrequent maintenance activities. -Ensuring our assets are safe, able to operate when required, and legally compliant. -Utilising multiple delivery routes, including in-house resource and the supply chain to meet service levels. -Development of contingency plans, asset management plans and operating procedures that specify and ensure we meet the required standard of service. -Work to meet our ambitious carbon reduction and sustainability targets. -Ensuring asset data in the Asset Information Management System (AIMS) is a consistent and high-quality inventory of our assets that enables us to report on asset health and make informed decisions. -Development and delivery of capital and revenue project programmes, acting as CDM Client.

What You Bring

-Engineering, Safety or Environmental qualification (environmental, civil, mechanical/electrical). -Full UK driving licence – required to visit sites across East Anglia and attend meetings. -Membership of a professional organisation such as the APM, ICE, Institute of Asset Management or CIWEM. -You will be skilled at managing multiple priorities. -Financial forecasting and contract management. -Project Management experience, acting as CDM Client. -Excellent IT skills and experience of managing, reporting and interpreting data. -First-class communication skills.
