Tasks

-Build capabilities within the finance function to meet evolving business needs and support future growth. -Implement strong financial control systems and risk management frameworks to ensure transparency and accountability. -Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance. -Deliver monthly and quarterly business performance reviews to senior leadership and the Board. -Lead business review meetings and ensure all projects are on track with agreed KPIs and financial targets. -Oversee all accounting and audit functions across the portfolio, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, regulatory frameworks, and internal governance policies. -Ensure robust internal controls, accurate reporting, and full compliance with contractual, legal, and tax obligations. -Champion financial transparency and ethical standards across the organization. -Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and alignment with corporate requirements. -Manage stakeholder relationships with partners, lenders, and government entities, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory goals. -Work closely with project CFOs to identify cost optimization and efficiency opportunities across EPC, O&M, and investment operations. -Oversee financial modeling, scenario analysis, and capital allocation across multiple entities and projects. -Consolidate financial results and provide actionable insights on performance drivers, risks, and improvement opportunities. -Partner with senior leadership to translate financial insights into business strategies that drive performance and profitability. -Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen processes, systems, and financial accuracy. -Lead portfolio-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and sustainable growth. -Provide strategic financial support for new investments, refinancing, and project expansions.

What You Bring

We are currently partnering with a leading renewable energy developer based in Riyadh, who is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to oversee accounting operations across their SPV entities. -Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA or professional certification (CPA, CFA, ACCA) preferred. -Strong understanding of project finance, EPC/O&M contracts, and portfolio management. -Minimum 10 years’ experience in finance, controlling, or business performance roles, ideally within the energy or infrastructure sector. -Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills. -Proven expertise in Saudi Arabia within IPP/IWP or similar project environments.
