Develop and manage road asset maintenance plans and strategies.

Tasks

-Utilize GIS and asset management systems to track and visualize asset information -Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to optimize asset lifecycle -Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards -Contribute to the continuous improvement of asset management processes and procedures -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize maintenance activities and capital projects -Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to road asset management -Create and update asset registers, including condition assessments and performance metrics -Analyze asset condition data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in road infrastructure maintenance -Prepare budget forecasts and long-term financial plans for asset maintenance and replacement -Develop and maintain comprehensive asset management plans for road infrastructure, specifically linear assets including road markings, lining, vehicle restraint systems and directional signage.

What You Bring

-Strong organizational and time management abilities -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Asset Management, or a related field -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail -Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite -Proficiency in asset management systems (EAMS), GIS software, and data analysis tools -Strong knowledge of roads infrastructure and asset lifecycle management -Minimum of 5 years of experience in asset maintenance planning or a related field, preferably in roads operations and maintenance
