The Role
Overview
Assist VHB transportation design team with plans, specs, cost estimates, and CAD work

Tasks
-Prepares cost estimates for various projects. -Assists in the development of transportation design plans and specifications. -Utilizes CAD software to complete key deliverables for our design team. -Collaborates with VHB staff, clients, and consultants to advance projects in a timely manner.

What You Bring
-Ability to independently perform multiple tasks and interact appropriately and positively with coworkers. -Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in civil engineering or related field. -Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD/Civil3D) is a plus. -Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. -Self-motivated with attention to detail. -Familiarity with transportation and highway engineering principles and resources.
